RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research interests span the disciplines of ecology, functional morphology, biomechanics, and fluid dynamics.
I am particularly interested in fish body and fin morphology and how those surfaces impact swimming.

I enjoy asking questions that are guided by understanding the relationship between locomotor mode and habitat complexity, maneuverability, and consequences of changing flow regime/habitat structure on feeding and swimming performance.
